    The story starts years back when the Internet was an obscure concept. Few people were online and most had no idea about how it was going to change the world. Information is now accessible to people in ways that they could never access it - for good and bad

    This site is really a resource developed for people who play outdoors and need some information on the conditions. My focus on this site is primarily in Northern, Central and the Sierra sections of California. Every now and then I venture outside and provide what I can of those experiences.
